AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED Class or AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED & First Aid Class
The AHA HeartSaver CPR AED Course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training, which need to obtain a course completion card in CPR and AED skills. Also used to meet job regulatory or other state/OSHA requirements.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
AHA ACLS Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This course emphasizes the importance of Basic Life Support to patient survival; integration of effective Basic Life Support with ACLS interventions; importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. The ACLS class includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, part of a team and as team leader.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for HealthCare Provider
The AHA BLS for the HealthCare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.
AHA Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider PLUS AHA HeartSaver First Aid Class
We have combined the 2 courses in one for you! In the morning we will teach AHA’s Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider have a break for lunch and in the afternoon complete the AHA HeartSaver First Aid Class.
AHA Bloodborne Pathogen Course (2 hour, text included)
AHA’s course uses the PACT acronym (Protect, Act, Clean, Tell) and slogan, “Make a PACT, Know How to Act,” to help students learn and easily recall Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
Students learn how to:
• Protect themselves from exposure to Bloodborne pathogens
• Act when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• Clean themselves and the area when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• Tell or report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
Classroom-based (instructor and video, with skills conducted throughout)
American Heart Association certification and OSHA approved!
HIV/AIDS State of Florida Certification Class (2 hour UPDATE, OSHA Approved)
This course meets HIV/AIDS Education requirements for new employees, cosmetologists, tattoo artists, massage therapists, and other health care and human service professionals for the State of Florida. Continuing education credits are not offered for this course. However, a certificate is provided which documents Department of Health content requirements were met and it is OSHA approved. This course is being offered once a month; check our calendar for the next date!
